本報看重讀者們的親子關係，藉著父母與孩子學習英語的時刻，增加他們溝通的機會。使用這教材的方法如下：

Jayden: Why do you look so sad, Alicia?
Alicia: I’ve been doing this calculation for half an hour already, but I still can’t figure out how to solve it.
Jayden: Let me see. You know I’m good at Maths…Oh dear! I think you’ve misunderstood the question here. No wonder you can’t work out the answer.
Alicia: Oh bother! So do you think I need to start from scratch and try again?
Jayden: Well, do you think you have a choice here?
